I am pleased to let you know that a new high school in Glenridding (grades 7-12) has received full construction funding from the Government of Alberta. In addition, the Government of Alberta has approved design funding for a new K-6 school in Glenridding Heights and a new K-9 school in River’s Edge.

Full construction funding for a new high school in Glenridding is great news for Edmonton-South West and for Edmonton. It is a step in the right direction, but the government will need to build more schools to meet incoming student growth.
